Equestrian Center
The Escambia County Equestrian Center is responsible for the management and maintenance of a safe, clean public equestrian facility in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local Regulations and in compliance with the Board of County Commissioners’ Policy on Rules and Regulations and fee schedule.
Other responsibilities include public relation/customer service; marketing/promotion; event coordination and management; sponsorship/foundation development.
The Escambia County Equestrian Center is a 178-acre equine park located at 7750 Mobile Highway in Pensacola. Designed as a multi-function event facility, the Center is host to numerous horse shows, rodeos, dog shows and all types of private and public events. The Center supports both English and Western style equine events. With the centers’ enhancements, numerous equestrian shows, rodeos, sales and exhibitions may be held, drawing enthusiasts from around the country to the greater Pensacola area.

Awards and Recognition
The American Kennel Club voted the Escambia County Equestrian Center as The Best Facility in the Southeast. Florida Parks and Recreation Association showcased the facility in the FRPA Journal in 2004.
The National Association of County Parks and Recreation Officials selected the Escambia County Equestrian Center as a 2004 Parks & Recreation Class III Facility Award winner.
