Bring shoes, pairs rubber banded together. Events are always held on Saturdays from 8:00 AM – 12:00 NOON at various locations throughout the county. Escambia County Residents
The following items can be disposed of at Regional Roundup Events: Escambia County residents only. HHW are items in a home that can cause injury if handled improperly. These items will usually have a warning or cautionary statement on their label, such as: flammable, corrosive, poison, or toxic. This includes items such as: Fluorescent Bulbs, up to 8 ft. long, no more than 10 per customer, CFL, compact fluorescent light, no more than 10 per customer, swimming pool chemicals, home maintenance products such as cleaners and drain openers, paint and paint products, fuels, gases, lawn and garden chemicals, aerosol cans, and automotive repair and maintenance products. The HHW is collected and repackaged. It is then transported to a facility where it is disposed of properly. Electronics Recycling If you have a basic list of electronics (ex. 5 computer monitors, 4 CPU's, 4 mouse, and 3 keyboards), your processing time will go quicker. If you are from a businesses please call (850) 937-2160 to make an appointment for disposal. *Microwaves can now be brought to the roundups. Tires 4 tires per household / vehicle will be accepted for no charge at each event. We will not accept more than 4 tires from any one person or vehicle, so please do not try to visit the site multiple times because you will be turned away. Shoe Reuse and Recycling Regular recycling materials should not be brought to these events. Please see our list of drop-off sites. |
