The Escambia County Joint Land Use Study (JLUS)
is the result of a dedicated, collaborative planning effort led by residents, Navy leaders, stakeholders, and local officials. These participants share the belief that the vitality of Escambia County and the health of existing Naval aviation facilities depends on a successful partnership between the military and surrounding community.

We believe that this document serves as a blueprint for ongoing actions to protect and strengthen this critical partnership.
