The current project scope includes the renovation of the existing two story building originally constructed in 1997. The ground level totals 22,728 square feet and the second level totals 14,043 square feet. The existing building is fully sprinkled. Exterior renovations include the replacement of all rooftop package air conditioning systems and a new roof system on the low slope roof areas. Interior renovations include minor partition modifications, with some new ceilings, floor finishes, and wall finishes. Alternate bid 1 includes the construction of a proscenium at the present stage as well as a stage extension. Alternate bid 2 includes the painting of the exterior of the building.
$250,000 of the project budget has been identified for Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) at the completion of the construction.

The BCC awarded the construction contract to A.E. New Jr., on July 19, 2016. Construction should begin within the next 2 weeks.
Notice to Proceed was given to A.E. New on August 8, 2016 with a project completion date of May 5, 2017. Substantial Completion was reached on March 21, 2017. The contractor will be completing the punch list items within the next 30 days for final completion.
Grand Opening and ribbon cutting has been scheduled for May 24, 2017 at 11:30am.
